Manchester United is all set to play attacking football against Roma in the crucial away fixture of UEFA Champions League quarterfinal. According to Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, he will prefer seeing some goals rather than a dull 0-0 draw. This is quite a bold statement by Ferguson because more often he opts for negative tactics especially in away games. But with the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney and Giggs in repertoire, Ferguson want something extra from his team.
Manchester United is red-hot favorite to win the English Premier League (EPL) title this year from two-time champion Chelsea but no one is giving them a chance to win UEFA Champions League. Chelsea and AC Milan are still in the fray while Liverpool is playing pretty well and Roma is not the easy team to go down, especially with Totti in the team. Theoretically speaking, Totti is an unorthodox striker, plays more or less as a single forward but tends to drop in defence with the passage of time making it pretty tough to mark him and effectively giving Roma a six-man midfield.
